Patagonia Ultra Lightweight Hiking Crew Sock Liners (Fall 2007) The Ultra Lightweight Hiking Crew Sock Liners by Patagonia are featherweight socks to be worn alone in hot, humid conditions or as a liner for extra warmth in cold weather. The plaited jersey-knit construction combines an interior of Capilene polyester with an exterior of nylon for superior moisture transport, quick dry times and absolute durability; a dash of spandex provide shape retention.Features: Knitted-in moisture-wicking performance for superior moisture management Can be worn alone in hot, humid conditions or as a liner for extra warmth in cold weather Elastic arch band provides arch support and a snug fit Elastic, ravel-free welt is non-restrictive and prevents socks from sloughing into boots Spandex fibers from cuff to toe provide shape retention and give Looped Lintoe toe construction creates the smallest and flattest seam possible for ultimate toe comfort; it also minimizes waste in the knitting process Shaft length extends to mid-calf for coverage under hiking boots 75% nylon, 22% polyester, 3% spandex with moisture-wicking performance 43 g.
